Shipping policy

How much does shipping cost?

  • Canada: Free ground shipping on orders over C$500 (before tax). Otherwise, a flat rate of C$30 applies.
  • United States: Free standard shipping on orders over C$700 (before tax). Otherwise, standard shipping is C$50.
  • International: Free standard shipping on orders over C$700 (before tax). Otherwise, standard shipping is C$70.

Shipping Times

  • If your order contains multiple items, your complete order will ship together on the date of the latest item.
  • Canada: Estimated delivery is 3–10 business days from the ship date.
  • US & International: Please allow 7–10 additional business days.
  • Tracking numbers will be emailed once your order ships.

Made-to-Order Items
Most of our pieces are made-to-order. Handmade items can take 3–8 weeks depending on sourcing special materials. Once in-house, processing and shipping take up to 2 business days. If you need your order by a specific date, contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Shipping Insurance & Lost/Damaged Packages

  • by Another automatically provides insurance for all shipments over C$500.
  • In the unlikely event your package is lost, stolen, or damaged during transit, we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier to recover the full value.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate shipping addresses. Any lost or damaged package due to an incorrect or incomplete address may not be covered by insurance.

Refused or Returned Packages

  • Customers are responsible for all shipping charges on refused or undeliverable packages.
  • If you refuse delivery or change your mind after the order has shipped, return shipping fees will apply.

Address Changes

  • We will attempt to accommodate address changes before your order is processed. Once the order has shipped, we are unable to update the shipping address.

Tracking Issues

  • Carrier tracking updates can take 1–2 business days. If your tracking number is not updating after 2 days, contact us at support@byanother.com.

P.O. Box Deliveries

  • We do not ship to P.O. boxes. Please provide a non-P.O. Box address for shipping.
